Team Competition Debuts at the Rattler!
Head-to-head team racing lands at Stafford Lake on Nov 9. Juniors and Adult/Mixed teams go wheel-to-wheel on the Rattler’s fast, flow-first course—chip-timed results, team awards, and a roaring pit row. Bring the tent, fly your colors, and race for bragging rights at Marin’s most electric XC venue.
Team Competition Summary:
- Team Divisions: Juniors • Adult/Mixed (any combo)
- How it works: Add your team name at sign-up (the first team rider to register can add the team, then it will be in the drop-down) → riders score points by placing in their categories → top finishers count toward your team total → team podiums + awards at day’s end
- Pit Row: Limited frontage for team tents—bring the hype and make it your home base
- High school and Devo squads - Stafford Lake is a NorCal NICA race venue—come test the legs and get some early race experience!
Vibe: Full-gas racing. Teams, awards, and big-crowd energy.
2025 Stafford Lake RATTLER XC
Stafford Lake Rattler XC - Sunday, November 9th
NOTE: We are starting the first wave at 10:30AM to allow teams and riders from further away to avoid having to camp or stay in a hotel.
The Stafford Lake Rattler is more than an MTB race - it's a celebration of the MTB community.
The Stafford Lake Rattler XC will be a traditional format MTB XC race with a ~4-mile course. Participants will complete multiple laps depending on registration class.

REMINDER: DISC GOLF TRAILS ARE CLOSED UNTIL 3PM FRIDAY.
The course is a mix of singletrack, fire road and double track. It utilizes the Bike Park and the hills to the south of the park that contain trails closed to public riding.
